There are five types of face shapes - square, round, heart, triangle and oval. You can determine your face shape by looking in the mirror or seeking advice from a friend. There is no one-size-fits-all definition for face shapes, as they vary depending on the individual.
Here's a short summary of what kind of frame shape best suits each face type.

These are not hard and fast rules, but they can be a useful starting point for determining your ideal look.
Traditionally, frames are measured using three main measurements. These are lens width, bridge width and temple length. The lens width is the measurement between the two widest points of a single lens. The bridge width is the distance between each of the lenses; commonly referred to as the bridge or nose bridge of the frame. The temple length is the length of the unbent temple (also known as the arm of the frame) from one end to the other. Although this measurement may sound impractical, it can be referenced for understanding how a frame will sit on your face, compared to frames you already own.
Typically, glasses frames are smaller than sunglass frames; however, this is not always the case. If you want sunglasses that look similar to your glasses, get a similar size frame. To purchase a new pair of frames that are similar in size to your existing frames, the measurement can be typically found on the inside of the temple (arm). On top of the standard measurements, we also provide the overall frame width, the lens height and the frame height to give you a greater understanding of the size of our frames.
